Information for companies and schools in the exhibition center

On June 10, 2023, the INSIDERTREF invites schoolchildren from the district of Görlitz to find out about career prospects at home.

In good tradition, all exhibitors and school representatives were invited to the INSIDERWERKSTATT four weeks before the training and study fair.
56 companies and 16 schools accepted this invitation to the flower hall of the exhibition center in Löbau. "We informed exhibitors and school representatives in two parallel events about the INSIDERTREFF and current developments in the areas of professional orientation, training and studies in the district of Görlitz," reports Saskia Heublein. The head of the #education service point of the ENO and her team were particularly pleased about the participation of three high schools in the district. They were particularly interested in the Hall of Innovation, Research and Science, which this year at the INSIDERTREFF will show high school graduates in particular career opportunities in research institutions in the district. The schools were also able to get to know three exciting lecture topics for their students.
The association "Courage - workshop for democratic educational work eV" presented workshops and further training courses to reduce prejudices in the world of training and to promote openness and diversity in vocational institutions and training companies under the title "Social competence for the working world". The IHK office in Görlitz offers schools a lecture on entrepreneurship. The students can find out what requirements must be met for later self-employment and what everyday business life looks like in their own company. The lecture by Deutsche Vermögensberatung was also received with interest. "For our speaker, Mr. Wielsch, it is a matter of the heart to teach the students how to handle money in order to prevent the current high level of debt among young people," explains Saskia. The representatives of the companies received their exhibitor documents with a lot of information about the INSIDERTREFF and stand planning.
With a best practice example, they should look for SCHAU REIN! Week of open companies to be sensitized. The Volks- und Raiffeisenbank won first prize this year for its particularly successful presentation. The concept of their SCHAU REIN! offer was clearly presented to the exhibitors. "We are very satisfied with the number of participants and with the presentations in both events," says Saskia happily.
"With this positive vigour, we are now going into the last weeks of preparation up to the INSIDERTREFF." The INSIDERWERKSTATT was a joint event of the cooperation partners in the district of Görlitz, IHK Dresden, HWK Dresden, the district craftsmen's association in Görlitz, the job center in the district of Görlitz and the Bautzen Employment Agency, with the kind support of the Sparkasse Upper Lusatia Lower Silesia.
