An opportunity to recruit young professionals

In 2025, the Görlitz district will once again offer the opportunity to actively contribute to the career orientation and recruitment of young people through the proven INSIDER offerings. These instruments have established themselves as central pillars of career guidance in the region in recent years and will be available again next year.

A special highlight is the INSIDERTREFF, the central trade fair for training and studies, which took place on May 25, 2024 in the Löbau exhibition park. With 150 exhibitors and 4,000 visitors, the trade fair was a complete success. This event will be organized again in 2025 to offer companies the opportunity to present themselves directly to potential young talent and to show career prospects in the region. The INSIDERTREFF 2025 will take place on May 10th in the Löbau Trade Fair Park.

The INSIDERATLAS will be distributed in its 14th edition to all schools in the district in autumn 2024. Almost 100 training companies, educational institutions and the Zittau/Görlitz University present their offers on 160 pages. New this year is the INSIDER-MINI-ATLAS, which contains compact information and QR codes about the ONLINE-INSIDER and thus reaches young people outside of the school environment.

The ONLINE INSIDER was further expanded in 2024 and, in addition to comprehensive information on training and studies, also offers details on holiday jobs, internships and a career test. A special innovation is the internship exchange, which enables young people to gain direct insights into various professions and companies.

District Administrator Dr. Stephan Meyer emphasizes the importance of these offers in a letter: “The INSIDER offers have established themselves as central instruments of career orientation in our district. Your involvement in these formats is invaluable. They show professional opportunities, present the attractiveness of our homeland and make it clear that staying here is really worth it.”

For 2025, companies, craft businesses and institutions in the district can now register online to take part in the INSIDER offers. Next year, the organization will again be taken over by the Education Service Center of the Niederschlesische Oberlausitz mbH (ENO) development company. The ENO employees are available as contact persons for the participating companies and institutions and support them in implementing the various offers.
