The new INSIDERATLAS 2023/24 is available

These are just three statements from young people that represent the attractiveness of vocational training in the Görlitz district. The new INSIDERATLAS presents numerous such positive reports from trainees in companies, institutions and vocational schools in the region. On 160 pages there is extensive information about training and studying in the unaffordable country. Over 100 training companies and more than 200 training occupations and fields of study in the homeland are presented. 6,500 copies have been distributed to all schools in the district and to the companies involved in the last few weeks. The leaving years in particular can now use the atlas for their specific applications for the coming training year.  

“Of course, the students in the eighth, ninth and eleventh grades also use the INSIDERATLAS very intensively,” reports Saskia Heublein, head of the ENO #education service. “It gives them a comprehensive insight into future career prospects back home. If your curiosity about a company or a profession is aroused, you can inquire about an internship or a holiday job there.”

In parallel to the printed brochure, all content from the atlas can also be accessed digitally. “The ONLINEINSIDER has been completely revised. It has been presenting itself in the new layout for a few weeks,” says Saskia happily. “The website has been made clearer. Information can now be accessed even more quickly.” Additional information on the topics of internships, training, studies and volunteer services is now available to all students and parents.

In the meantime, work has already begun on the INSIDER products for the coming year. Companies can now register for INSIDERATLAS and INSIDERTREFF. The #education service center is planning some changes, especially for the atlas. There will be an industry breakdown to make it easier to find companies. “A kind of mini-INSIDER is also planned, which can be distributed at events and trade fairs. This magazine will be smaller, thinner and more compact than the large INSIDERATLAS and will refer directly to the offers in ONLINEINSIDER via QR codes,” explains Saskia.  

The INSIDERATLAS is created in close collaboration between the cooperation partners District of Görlitz, the Dresden Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Dresden Chamber of Crafts, the Bautzen Employment Agency and the Görlitz District Job Center, as well as with the support of the Sparkasse Oberlausitz-Niederschlesien.
