From the far west to the easternmost Saxon district: In the summer of 2021, journalist Tobias Rieger from Stuttgart headed towards the 15th degree of latitude, or to be more precise, to Upper Lusatia.

The man from Stuttgart was on the road for three weeks, swapping the noisy city life in the Swabian metropolis for idyllic country life in the Görlitz district. There are only six degrees of latitude between your travel destination and your hometown. Actually not much. And yet there is something different there, as he says himself. He wanted to immerse himself in this supposedly different world. He set out to discover Priceless Land and explore how locals live here.
