What makes the 5G Forest Guardian project so special?
The 5G forest guard project relies on AI-supported analysis of real-time data for climate-adapted forest management. It helps to detect forest fires and pest infestations early and thus protect our forests more sustainably.
Who is behind the project?
A strong consortium of science and business, including the Brandenburg Technical University of Cottbus, Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, Fraunhofer IOSB-AST, the Leibniz Institute for Innovative Microelectronics, and many more. The project management lies with the Görlitz district, which has entrusted ENO with the implementation of the project.
