Final event for the 5G Forest Guard funding project

The final event of the “5G Forest Watcher” funding project will take place on December 12, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Rietschen Cinema ( Rothenburger Str. 2, 02956 Rietschen ). The project consortium cordially invites everyone interested.

Test fire as part of the forest guardian project 

As part of the 5G project Waldwächter, a test fire was carried out in the district of Görlitz on March 29, 2023. In order to test the methods for detecting a forest fire, a 6550 square meter forest area was burned down in a controlled manner.

The district of Görlitz is one of five model regions 

Since September 2022, the ENO has been part of the 5G project "Forest Watchman" on behalf of the district of Görlitz. We took over the project coordination on behalf of the district of Görlitz.

Today it's about structural development live!

I'm sure you've all noticed that progress is being made at the Rothenburg airfield. Elbe Flugzeugwerke GmbH (EFW) and Flugplatz Rothenburg / Görlitz GmbH are now working and researching together for the second time on the promising project of aircraft recycling, i.e. the most complete possible subsequent use of a complex aircraft.

 Can we be a hydrogen model region for the combined mobility and energy transition?  

The call came unexpectedly. "We would like to work with the county to submit an application to the HyLand program." We - that was some players around Energy Saxony, the University of Zittau/Görlitz, the city of Görlitz and regional transport companies.

CCRR - not the footballer in a double pack 

I chose the title of our project proposal. Why does it always have to sound complicated? No idea. But just talking about aircraft recycling is apparently not good enough. So we call it CCRR - Center for Component Remunufaturing, Repair & Recycling. A model project for complete material recycling in aircraft construction.  

It is to be crazy

On days like March 12, 2021, I seethe inside. Shaking my head, I walk through the ENO rooms, sometimes Luna has to "suffer" too - there's no time to sniff around. I am aware that many project proposals are always an attempt. Always a bit dependent on available funds. This also includes setbacks.
