Warm invitation: Active short holiday in your home country

The project " Cycling and hiking to a common heritage " invites you to a heart-refreshing sporty short vacation in our beautiful priceless country - and "a corner further". Together we want to cycle through the natural and cultural heritage in the German-Czech border region for the final bicycle promotion tour of the project "Cycling and hiking to a common heritage".

From May 3rd to 4th, 2023, you will cycle along new connecting routes between the long-distance cycle path Saxon low mountain range route and the Czech cycle routes. There is a lot to discover: from Czech folk architecture to charming half-timbered houses , natural beauties and many other sights. The daily stages are a maximum of 40 kilometers.

The area will be more closely linked by new cross-border cycle paths. It includes the Ústí Kraj (Bohemian Switzerland, Schluckenauer Tip), the Liberec Kraj (surroundings of Česká Lípa), the district of Bautzen (Upper Lusatian mountains) and the district of Görlitz (Upper Lusatian mountains, Zittau Mountains Nature Park).

Already in June last year we conducted a successful three-day promotional tour to explore new avenues and we look forward to seeing you on this year's tour!

Overnight at Chata Luz in Myslivny.

If you can't or don't want to ride the whole tour, you can only take part in one of the two days.

The tour ends on May 4th at 4pm in Rumburk.

Travel to the starting point is at your own expense. There is a parking lot in Rumburk, secured by a barrier. The transport of the bicycles and the participants will be ensured with accompanying buses. If you can only participate on one day, we will be happy to check whether the escort vehicle can take you back to your car.

And: when we invite, we mean it in full - the participants do not incur any food or accommodation costs.
