The Neißeland Tourist Area Community presents itself with proven leadership and a fresh digital presence.
At the most recent general meeting on June 20, 2024 in Niesky, the board was unanimously re-elected and an attractive new website was presented. The continuity in leadership, coupled with a modern website, underlines the community's desire to further strengthen and promote the Neißeland as an attractive travel destination.
Re-election of the board confirms trust
A central topic of the general meeting was the election of the new board. The members showed their trust in the work so far and re-elected Ralf Brehmer, mayor of Rietschen , as chairman. Heiko Lichnok from the Muskau Forest Railway was also confirmed as deputy chairman. Over the next three years, Evelyn Koch from the Nochten Findlingspark, Katja Halla from the Görlitz Nature Conservation Zoo , Ines Kittner from Blockhaus-Kittner GbR , Tino Kittner from Neiße-Tours and the Görlitz district actively involved in the board.

Ralf Brehmer expressed his delight at the re-election: “For us, the re-election is a confirmation of our previous work and at the same time an incentive to continue on the successful path.” Given the increasingly complex tasks in tourism and the limited financing, the network will be particularly important in the future from municipalities and tourism service providers.
New website and logo for the Neißeland
Parallel to the election of the board, the Neißeland Tourist Area Community also modernized its online presence . The new website was presented on July 3, 2024, which impresses with a contemporary design and improved user-friendliness. “We are very pleased that the Neißeland now presents itself in a fresher and friendlier layout,” said Ralf Brehmer. The aim of the new website is to market the Neißeland as an attractive travel destination and to offer visitors an optimal user experience.
The logo of the regional tourist community was also revised. The modern lettering underlines the identity of the region and supports the new appearance, which is also consistently implemented in the community's corporate identity.
Future-oriented planning and collaboration
With the confirmation of the board and the introduction of a modern website, the Neißeland Tourist Area Community is well prepared for the future. The goal remains to further increase the region's tourist attractiveness and to promote sustainable tourism projects.
