The LOOK IN! The week of open companies could take place from March 14th to 19th, 2022 as usual in #Pricelessland . LOOK INSIDE! is Saxony's largest initiative for career orientation. In no other week of the year are so many schoolchildren on their feet at the same time to get to know companies from the inside. LOOK INSIDE! is the only career orientation event in Saxony, it covers the widest range of professions and has the highest practical relevance.

We, the service point for education of the ENO as project coordinator of the district of Görlitz, were also on the road and convinced ourselves of our regional companies. We are excited about how many companies took part again this year and put together exciting, practical offers for schoolchildren. This year, 75 companies provided 214 offers. Of the 1425 places, 709 were booked, and 445 participants came from 33 schools.

Upper Lusatia Farmers' Association began on Monday . First there was the tractor instruction and calves were allowed to be stroked. Then it was explained which inclinations, interests and skills one should have professions of animal husbandry and farming as well as specialist practitioners for landscape maintenance and horticulture

Tuesday we continued to the new training center of the Richter butcher's shop in Löbau , where nine students were able to try their hand at becoming a specialist salesman in the food trade . In addition to putting together and designing a sausage platter and making roses from minced meat and vegetables, gifts were also wrapped - three hours flew by. We were also guests of Abraham Dürninger in Herrnhut media technology . The students and our project manager Annabell Krause were able to design and print their own T-shirt. A nice reminder of the exciting day.

Our paths also led us to Brewes in Markersdorf . Three professions were presented there: warehouse logistics specialist , industrial clerk and digital and print media designer . Here, too, the participants were able to ask questions, try themselves on the machine, in the warehouse and on the computer in sales, and learn a lot about the company: a company that has grown steadily in recent years, has a great, attractive range of training and is open for internships and other career orientation measures.

Last but not least, the daycare center “Unser Spatzennest” in Horka visited on Friday. After a tour of the after-school care center and kindergarten, there was time to talk and play with the children. A student from the facility reported on her daily tasks and the challenges of being a teacher.

At this point we would like to thank all companies that are participating in SCHAU REIN! involved and helped the students find their dream job here in the district of Görlitz.  

We as ENO also take part in the SCHAU REIN! week and give insights into the dual courses of study in business informatics and public management as well as into the apprenticeship as a clerk for office management . This year we were able to welcome 9 participants, introduce ourselves and do some practical exercises. The potential merchants were allowed to fill the next weekly plan for our managing director Sven Mimus with appointments, process an invoice for our office and write out all the important data for the invoice post book.

We are happy about the interest of the young people in all the great offers and of course we are happy about numerous bookings from schools and offers from companies every year.
