Over 50 companies & dozens of students: that was the trainee speed dating 2022

Last week the time had come: our service center for education, together with cooperation partners from the district, invited trainees to speed dating in Weißwasser, Zittau and Görlitz. The students could register in advance, but there were also many young people who spontaneously took the opportunity.

The training place seekers and the 50 participating companies each had ten minutes to get to know each other at the events. Then the searchers, who were mostly still at school, moved on to a company - and the companies dated the next potential new trainee or intern. Young people who took the search seriously were able to have 12 conversations in the three hours of speed dating. "Many were very involved - unfortunately I can't say whether anyone really managed to hold so many discussions," explains the head of the ENO service point for education, Saskia Heublein, with a smile. "But I know that this career orientation format is very popular, above all because of its diversity - and because it gives many young people an idea of ​​exciting professions with great development opportunities here in the district that they hadn't really had in mind before," explains Saskia . "The aim of the talks from the entrepreneurial side is to invite interested parties to a more in-depth discussion and to fill open training positions." It's no wonder that many students were a little excited but highly concentrated and quite a few left the speed dating with the desired invitations to a "real" job interview.

Together with the cooperation partners Federal Employment Agency , Görlitz District Job Center , Dresden Chamber of Commerce and Industry , Dresden Chamber of Crafts , the Görlitz District and the Sparkasse OL/NS the ENO carried out the trainee speed dating shortly before the end of the school year in order to help fill vacant positions Training places to support the companies in the district of Görlitz.

Anyone who is still in the process of finding and unfortunately missed the speed dating will receive a from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Löbau Exhibition Park the next opportunity to secure a suitable training position with a company in the unpayable country : During the trade fair for training and studies in the district of Görlitz, the insider meeting place that the ENO and its above-mentioned cooperation partners is carried out in person, there will be a last-minute training place board again this year.
