The #education service center relies on intensive contact with the schools in the district

Saskia Heublein, Ricarda Wild Noisten and Lisa Graen are currently touring the district.

29 schools are on their tour schedule. On site, they meet with the teachers, practice advisors or those responsible for vocational orientation (BO) in the school. "Personal contact with the BO contact persons in the schools is important to us," says Saskia Heublein, explaining these visits. "We would like to find out on site how the students are prepared for training and studies and how we can support them." Of course, Saskia, Ricarda and Lisa present the products that are already available during these visits. INSIDER MEETING, INSIDER ATLAS, ONLINE INSIDER, check the job, job safari, come on tour and LOOK IN! are available to young people in the district for orientation. The SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT network is exciting for direct cooperation between schools and training companies. For Saskia and her team, direct contact with parents is also important: "We like to present our BO products at parents' evenings and use the parents' letters to report on current developments and events in the field of career orientation."

Every year, the #bildung service point conducts these school talks. In recent years, mostly virtually, now again directly on site. "We already have a very good relationship with many schools, with a constant exchange of information," reports the head of the service center, Saskia. "This year we are visiting schools with which we would like to intensify our cooperation." For Saskia, high schools are the priority, while Lisa and Ricarda go to selected high schools and special schools in the district. During the visits, there is also plenty of advertising for the INSIDERTREFF on June 10th. "In the grammar schools, I particularly promote the 'Hall of Innovation, Research and Science', which will present career prospects in scientific professions at the INSIDERTREFF (fair for training and study in UNBEAHAHBARLAND) in Löbau," emphasizes Saskia. "Such formats find great support in grammar schools."
