Trainee speed dating in the Görlitz district

The trainee speed dating will take place in the Görlitz district on April 11th and 16th. In Weißwasser/OL, Görlitz and Zittau, students and training companies have the opportunity to find and get to know each other. If the initial contact is positive for both sides, in-depth discussions, trial work or internships in the company can follow. The event provides tenth and twelfth grade students with a very short and quick route to a training position.

Goals and benefits

The main goal of trainee speed dating is to offer students who are looking for a training position or an internship a platform on which they can introduce themselves directly and personally to potential training companies. In a set timeframe of 10 minutes, participants have the opportunity to make a first impression and find out more about the training careers on offer. With over 100 different professions presented by the participating training companies, a wide range of professional opportunities is covered.

Participation and preparation

An overview of the training offers and the participating companies is available online, which allows participants to make targeted decisions and use the conversations effectively.

The event will be offered at three different locations and over two days to enable broad participation:

The ENO #education service point is responsible for organizing the trainee speed dating. This initiative is being implemented together with the cooperation partners Dresden Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dresden Chamber of Crafts, Bautzen Employment Agency and the Görlitz District Job Center.
