I got it for my milestone birthday last year. A copy from exactly 40 years ago. Even my grandfather was meticulously busy reading them, literally studying them, when I was a child. Articles were then neatly cut out and filed according to categories. Even the weather got its place in the perfectly kept diary. Unfortunately, I can't do this depth of study of all sides.

Nevertheless, it is one of them – the Sächsische Zeitung. In the evening already digitally in cross-reading, then in the morning as a paper edition. 75 years is a long time. For that I have my respect and appreciation. It is certainly not an easy task to find new content every day, to write texts and then - sometimes very emotionally - to face the discussion. The channels of information dissemination are very diverse today. Nevertheless, I wouldn't want to miss the Sächsische Zeitung. I like to follow the reports about events that happen right on my doorstep and I do so very closely. Google or Twitter can't take over the research of the editors - thank you for that.  

One thing has definitely remained the same over the past 75 years: the procurement of background information on current events was certainly never a sure-fire success. For this it is necessary to maintain contacts, to report neutrally and every now and then not to follow every rumor directly. I feel that the cooperation is on an equal footing, I am happy about positive reporting and always take factual criticism from the eyes of neutral journalists seriously. Of course, I prefer good stories to critical lines. However, I know that both are absolutely necessary for a comprehensive consideration.  

For the next 75 years, I wish you strong nerves and always the necessary feeling, maybe luck, when finding topics. I have one more wish - since I read all the local sections from the district of Görlitz, a specially compiled PDF with those articles once a day would be great for me.
