Sparkasse Oberlausitz-Niederschlesien supports clubs with sustainable commitment

Sustainability is becoming increasingly important not only in business, but also in our personal environment.

Clubs, as important pillars of social life, play a central role in the sustainable development of our region. The Sparkasse Oberlausitz-Niederschlesien is now supporting clubs that are particularly committed to their sustainable projects with a total of 20,000 euros. Clubs based in the Görlitz district and with a customer relationship with the Sparkasse can apply for 20x 500 euros, 4x 1,000 euros and 3x 2,000 euros.

The projects must be assigned to two of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Applications are possible online from September 1st to 30th, 2024. In October, a Sparkasse working group will examine the applications for completeness, plausibility and feasibility. The results will be announced in November 2024, and successful clubs have until June 30, 2025 to implement their projects and document their success with photos.

The #unbezahlbarland service point and ENO's IT colleagues support the Sparkasse Oberlausitz-Niederschlesien in the preparation, design, implementation and media support of this initiative. The aim is to strengthen the commitment of the clubs and promote sustainable development in the Görlitz district.

From September 1st, applications can be made directly via the Sparkasse Oberlausitz-Niederschlesien website.
