Hundreds of pictures put a smile on my face

With all our projects, we proclaim the motto "let's continue" from the good energy of what has been achieved. No matter which area I look at - everyone in the team has to react creatively, but also think strategically far ahead. The #tourism service with Maja plans trade fairs, the star cycle tour, the awarding of the innovation prize or training courses. Saskia has offers in #education for the whole year - be it the week of open companies, the insider meeting, come on tour or check the job. In #projectmanagement, in my opinion, the best projects don't come on the computer or in theoretical assumptions - no, people have to meet who have an idea together. The #priceless country lives from good stories - and these live from pictures, pictures of all of us who appreciate the advantages of our region as a place to live and work. Even with our #properties, the exchanged word often leads to compromises and solutions much faster than letters, emails or video conferences.

Well - many of the plans could not be implemented in 2020. I crumpled up a few sheets of paper in anger, felt resignation rising in me when I made new tough decisions, or stared at the screen with empty eyes. Like fresh air, however, there was always the moment to play the strength of the team again - namely to think about what we can do. Hot coffee and heated debates about new formats were my daily companions. Sometimes I had a heavy stomach when I presented "our ideas" to the committees.

outlook

The year 2020 is now over. There was never a discussion for me about not doing the annual review. The ENO does not advertise, the ENO is the district of Görlitz - and the logo on the posters, flyers and other formats belongs to the district of Görlitz and many partners. That's important and right. That's why it's very important for me to show you all once a year with a collected work where the ENO "participates" everywhere :) Of course there aren't quite as many pictures in the fundus in 2020, but we have an idea. The report will still be good, it will go online soon.
