Hello!
Eight months ago I wrote here for the first time and was very curious to see how the new colleagues, the structural development team at ENO for the district of Görlitz, would get together and set themselves up to make our beautiful priceless country fit for the future after the to be able to make coal. of projects already by the regional monitoring committee and also by the federal government.
And of course a lot has happened in our structural development team that I would like to report on at this point! At the beginning, for example, it was still unclear to me: How do ten people with the most diverse professional backgrounds (regional economics, ecology, tourism and culture, etc.) and geographical origins (for example, people from the north of Oberlausitz, Görlitz, Mecklenburg, Brandenburg, Sauerland and Berliners work closely with us together) to form a team?
has to keep each other up to date on complex undertakings ?
Who takes care of what?
Who has what experiences, but above all: who is interested in learning new things (from which areas?)?
In the beginning there were questions upon questions. But - the ENO does not have "development" in its name for nothing - everything has developed, almost unnoticed we have become a team that is constantly evolving with the help of the latest technology and a wonderful collegial cooperation... How I get it, from us instead of reporting on great projects?
Well, we held a retreat after our first eight months to take a critical look at ourselves. What's going well? Where are we missing something? What are we missing? Of course, it wasn't just about "us " , but about everything that should bring forward the development of the district of Görlitz. can advise and support great so efficiently and quickly, happily and with commitment
We found that we already have quite a lot. When we wrote down the number "122" - because we managed a large part - we were amazed at ourselves for a moment. And at the commitment of the municipalities, who have dedicated themselves to many great projects with their heart and soul and afterwards act. In everyday life, sight of the big picture (which is going well in many areas), so we (and our ENO boss Sven Mimus ) a little proud of this rather high number.
Then we realized that we already have a lot of what it takes to be a good, close-knit team. A team that sticks together, supports and takes over when one of the members is unable to till his or her field directly due to vacation or illness. The terms we used when asked about our work were all positive! One of the greatest things is that we feel valued within ENO and outside of the county. The municipalities and the local politicians are happy when our project managers come for advice and also show this.
We are grateful for that - because that is not to be taken for granted! right track where we have positioned ourselves - i.e. in the areas of tourism, culture and living environment, sustainability and green technology, research, development and technological specialization, infrastructure, mobility and transport and healthcare paths and learning from each other every day together. And with great pleasure.
We see our different competencies as one of our superpowers - together with the staying power that we all have to have and that brings us even closer together as a team - "if it takes a little longer". But we're in the mood for that - structural development isn't just done overnight - and what takes a long time will finally be good in the end.
Best regards
Your Jasna
