Creative ideas for Lusatia

At the end of April, the new "Creativity" module of the HSZG bachelor's course "Culture and Management" in the ENO's priceless lounge in the new Görlitz Inno-Lab .
The students were guided by Professor Maik Hosang and ENO innovation manager Saskia Brosius. They conveyed various creativity tools and methods and provided impulses that brought the five student teams closer to processes of creative thinking in theory and practice. To make the goal more tangible, it was linked to an interesting, realistic question:
"How can Lusatia use structural change to create attractive living and working spaces for young and creative people?". (If you spontaneously have an idea or some ideas, please click here!)
The first day of the block seminar began with impulses on the topics of "transformation processes (in Lusatia)", social sculpture (Joseph Beuys) , beauty as a leitmotif and creative potential. Various teams were then formed from the approximately 30 students. Using the Walt Disney method and various creativity techniques from the Maltese creativity researcher de Bono, the teams dreamed up and developed initial ideas for a bright future in Lusatia.
These included a world of legends, an event platform, a treetop bar and an app for the city of the future.
On the second day, the ideas were further developed using the design thinking method and new ones were conceived. The following prototypes were finally created:
- A dryad (= forest spirits) path that leads to a dryad bar in a treetop
- An event app for Görlitz called "Görlitz-now", which can also be used in other cities and communities
- A Saxon legend adventure park
- An information office for cultural events with an integrated exhibition area for the works of artists who have not yet dared to show their works and
- The "Zastrowmat" - a ball rental machine that can be used in the parks of tomorrow.
On June 10th there will be another block seminar of the module. In this, the student teams will present their further developed prototypes of the ideas, their development process and necessary milestones for implementation. The presentation will take place at the Pommritz estate .
Anyone who is now curious and would like to be there is welcome to contact Saskia Brosius.
We look forward to you!
Best regards!
Your Saskia & Jasna
