Call to participate in an employee survey: The nursing industry is facing major challenges, especially when it comes to retaining qualified and committed nursing staff in the long term.
Against this background, our Lausitz Vital network a groundbreaking initiative: a comprehensive employee survey that is being carried out specifically in inpatient and outpatient geriatric care in the Görlitz district. The aim of this survey is to improve working conditions in nursing and thus sustainably strengthen employee loyalty.
Those in need of care suffer from human losses
The loss of a carer is not only stressful for the facility concerned, but also has a profound impact on the remaining teams and, above all, on those in need of care. By participating in the survey, nurses can contribute their valuable experiences and opinions. These findings are essential for developing practical and innovative solutions that improve working conditions and the satisfaction of nursing employees. The more nurses take part in the survey, the greater the opportunity to create a clear picture.
A special incentive to participate is that participating companies receive exclusive insights into the survey results for their own institution. They also have the opportunity to actively participate in the further development of the project.
From January 2025, workshops will be held in which concrete measures to improve working conditions will be developed together. In a pilot phase, the developed suggestions for action are then tested in the practical companies for six months and then discussed with the staff. In the best case scenario, the first successful measures will then be established in the company in the long term. The results from the individual stages are made available to every company “Lausitz Vital” homepage
Participation in the survey can both digitally and in paper form. To enable the broadest possible participation, the survey is available in several languages, including German, English, Polish, Czech, Vietnamese and Ukrainian. Anonymity and confidentiality of the answers are strictly guaranteed. The survey covers a variety of topics, including employee satisfaction, digitalization, work-life balance, management and the company's external image.
Companies interested in the survey have until August 31, 2024 to participate. The colleagues from ENO stand as
