A committed community

“Even as a small child I was fascinated by horses. And so, 20 years ago, I came to the “Wehrkirch” Horka riding and driving club. I stuck with it, became increasingly involved and took on responsibility.”

Lisa Bergmann is now a member of the board of the association, which has made a name for itself beyond the district borders with events such as the large open-air tournament at Pentecost in Horka, the Lower Silesian heath tour, the championships in horse plowing and the Lower Silesian horse ball. 10,000 visitors were counted at the traditional Whitsun tournament alone this year.
