New film portrait available

The business brochure for the Görlitz district was created and published for the first time by ENO in 2020. The updated second edition of the brochure has been available since September 2023.

“Not everyone likes to leaf through the 128 pages to get a rough overview of the business location, our goals, challenges and our strengths,” reports Christian Fietze from the Unbezahlbarland service center.
“That’s why it quickly became clear to us that, in addition to the digital and printed brochure, a film was also needed.” And so the filmmaker from the UBL team grabbed the current brochure and filtered out the most important figures and key topics. He delved into the archive and looked at existing interviews that he had already conducted with entrepreneurs for other projects. A first draft was created in the design of the Görlitz district, which has already impressed colleagues in the UBL team. “However, important players who are responsible for the current economic development of the district were still missing,” emphasizes Christian. “District Administrator Dr. Stephan Meyer and Antje Klose, heads of the Structural Development, Economic Development and International Relations (SWIB) department of the Görlitz district, as well as our ENO managing director Sven Mimus were supposed to enrich the film with concise statements." Production has now been completed and the film is available for use . “Whether as part of business events, on relevant websites or in the social media area – the possible uses are diverse,” says Christian. We have integrated the film portrait on the UBL website in the business section and in the UBL YouTube channel. Economic developers of the district, sponsors of the skilled workers' alliance projects, the district administration as well as companies, chambers, umbrella organizations and research institutions can also use this film free of charge.
