Actually, it was supposed to be an exposé. The most important figures for the business location district of Görlitz summarized on a few pages. But we quickly realized that we would not do justice to our priceless country. Numbers alone cannot describe our homeland. We've really achieved a lot in the past few decades. Today it is not only the beautiful landscapes that make our district attractive. Committed companies, exciting research institutions, tourist offers with a magnet effect and plenty of freedom to develop are now typical of our region. Above all, however, it is the people who fill all this with life.  

I'm also very optimistic about the future. We're getting better and better at keeping young people here. We do a lot to make them want to stay here and get a job in their home country at an early stage. Career orientation is also a real core issue for us as ENO. But securing and recruiting skilled workers is also an exciting topic for the district. Just like the marketing of free commercial space.
