In order to meet the increasing demand of the international market, the subsidiary of the Swiss SKAN AG started production in Görlitz-Hagenwerder at the beginning of 2014. The manufacturing skills of the modern company lie in the processing of stainless steel, in assembly and control cabinet construction as well as the complex tests and approvals according to pharmaceutical standards.

"From our point of view, the region offers good framework conditions for development. SKAN started in Hagenwerder in 2013 with nine employees. In the meantime, around 150 employees work at the location. In addition to production-related tasks, we also have responsibility for project management, design and research and development.”
