An event on the subject of corporate succession will be held in Görlitz on the weekend of October 15th and 16th under the motto “The changing world of companies – THE CHANCE for those who tackle it”.

As we find in the ENO: a super thing! like to cordially invite interested, experienced and curious people with a zest for action to this great cause on behalf of the " Saxony. Urbanes Land. " Older people: it has never been so easy to get to know the potential takeover applicants and to get professional advice together. Because a large part of the successful companies in our region are no longer inherited from the ancestors to their children.

Entrepreneurs who do not have anyone in their family who is interested in succeeding are faced with a number of challenges - which in turn can almost be solutions to the difficulties of young entrepreneurs. While the experienced entrepreneur wants to transfer his successful life's work into the modern age in safe, young hands, the young businessman ideally wants to realize his ideas in his own company - but building one from scratch is not entirely without it - but above all: not absolutely necessary!

So what could be more obvious than bringing the two generations together and specifically looking for synergies and sympathy for each other? That's what the organizers thought and immediately put together an exciting, informative program that will make you want to take part in an exciting Barcamp on Friday, October 15th from 3:45 p.m. Entrepreneurs who want to sell their companies sooner or later are invited, but also people who have already made this change and who will report on their experiences - the good, the instructive and also the not so good ones. So that the boys can get a good informal overview of what might be in store for them. All this is led by a great moderator, and a delicious snack and drinks are also provided at the end.

On Saturday, the business juniors from the district of Görlitz will illuminate the specific specialist topics. What should be considered when handing over? What are the legal and financial requirements? How is a company valued, how does financing work, and what does tax law say about this? However, very (supposedly) simple questions are also answered: What does it actually mean to be an entrepreneur?

You can probably also study all these topics incredibly, for whole semesters. You can also simply register here until October 8th - because the makers of "Saxony. Urbanes Land." and the business juniors are happy to finally be able to invite you to a face-to-face event again (of course in compliance with the applicable corona rules, see below).

And we at the ENO are also a little bit proud - after all, our project manager Annabell Krause is with "Saxony. Urbanes Land." and our project manager Phillip Lehmann are active in the business jury.
