Dear readers,

maybe you noticed. In December we presented you with a new "Good Story" from our ENO working world every day. The term “advent calendar” came up rather casually during a team consultation at the end of November. And there was already a challenge. Until 24.12. a story every day!

The preparations are ongoing

Project business is challenging. Developing cross-border project ideas is even more challenging. But exciting. We live in the Euroregion. In the border triangle of Poland, the Czech Republic and Germany. From my perspective, a chance and a possibility to live in Europe. Of course, there are also many things that do not work properly. But when I walk through the Polish part of the Fürst-Pückler-Park in Bad Muskau or go skiing in the Giant Mountains, I don't want to miss that region - my homeland.

You also have to be able to let go

You also have to be able to let go

It really took me a little longer to find the right words to start the post with this text. Actually I still don't have it. That's why I just write the idle time. Empty prose as an opening. But maybe that's completely normal? I have been active in the district since 2005. And handing over a task that I actually enjoy is new to me. In concrete terms, it is about the museum network. For a number of years now, I have shared responsibility with the shareholders and the team. What I found, but where the journey can go - I've already written here Also about the problems of the lack of specialist knowledge in the field of museology or pedagogy in the management. The work has grown on me, despite all the worries and needs. Still, it's time to say goodbye

In tune with the times

Hello dear blog readers,

My name is Annabell Krause and I grew up in the ENO. After graduating from high school, I did dual studies at the BA Bautzen and was able to win the ENO as a practical partner. So I've been an integral part since 2016. As a project manager, I am constantly working on (new) projects. And since February I have an exciting project on my desk, which I want to chatter about today.

Do I do it or don't I do it!

Thomas Vogel probably asked himself this question again and again in the second quarter of 2020. It was my wish. Thomas' namesake - Thomas (Tom) Rublack - had received the trust of the district council for the advertised position of head of department. The times when he had "authorized officer of the ENO" on his business card were numbered. On June 1st, 2020 I needed a new, strong right hand.

And the next project please

Sandra Bardely has been in the ENO since 2013. We hired her to replace Maja Daniel-Rublack on maternity leave. Tourism. Tourism forever and ever? This question can be answered unequivocally with "no".
