My dual studies at the ENO

Hello! My name is Lukas Bumann, I am 19 years old and I was born in Görlitz.

Last year I graduated from high school and started my dual studies at ENO in October. The "Public Management" course is structured in a three-month alternation between theory and practice. Professionally, I always wanted to go in the direction of management, but purely theoretical studies were out of the question for me - I wanted more variety and, above all, practical experience.  

When I found out about the course at the BA in Bautzen, the ENO caught my eye as a practical partner. I became aware of the development company in the 10th grade as part of my annual work on the subject of "Demographic change in Görlitz" through the priceless country campaign. Since she is very active in project management in particular, it quickly became clear to me that this course was exactly the right thing for me.  

There were many arguments in favor of studying. Above all, I was certain that I wanted to stay in the region. I have been active in the 1st Görlitz Karate Club for 13 years - as a trainer for various age groups and on the board. I also take care of the office administration and the organization of club events.  

I've been in the ENO for almost a year now and I can say that I feel very well received and welcomed. I particularly liked the fact that I was given tasks with personal responsibility right from the start. As a dual student, I work in various service centers of the ENO. So far I've mainly worked in project management, education and in the Unpayableland team. My tasks are very diverse and varied. I am happy to be part of the team!
