Annabell Krause reports from the 3rd Lausitz Vital network meeting
Our third meeting of the network players Lausitz Vital took place before Easter. We were again able to win great speakers for the topic " Cross-sector cooperation : a nationwide challenge in medical care - also for Lusatia " At the beginning, Mr. Cording , project coordinator for outpatient and inpatient medical care in the district of Görlitz, gave us insights into the necessity and possible solutions for intersectoral cooperation in the district of Görlitz. This brought some light into the darkness for some of the participants.
Mr. Cording very clearly conveyed which responsibilities prevail, which laws and regulations apply and made it clear right from the start that cross-sectoral cooperation entails many hurdles. Prof. Saatkamp from the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences showed us It quickly became clear what challenges the doctors were struggling with. As early as 1975 (!) Erwin Jahn wrote "The system of medical care in the Federal Republic of Germany is determined by the fact that a new diagnostic process is started at every point where an insured person receives treatment, without previously obtained examination results being included and the exchange of information between the doctors is minimal and there is no continuity of treatment when the insured person changes between the subsystems (..)".
We will still be struggling with the same difficulties in 2022.
However, in order to master these challenges in Lusatia as well, there are already great initiatives and project ideas that remove certain hurdles - also in Boxberg. Romy Ganer from Perspektive Boxberg eV took us on a journey to the development of the “Boxberg Health Center” project. Such an idea could only be poured into a concept and an application prepared by means of fundamental and cross-sectoral cooperation. We keep our fingers crossed that the idea will also be implemented. (And since this project is not entirely unknown to our ENO structural developers, there will be more about it here soon!)
"Last but not least" Mr.shire from VEPRO EAST GmbH once again presents the industry's point of view. How can companies support cross-sector supply? By, for example, optimizing the interfaces with suitable IT solutions and ensuring cooperation. But that's not all - software solutions can also optimize the need for skilled workers, for example by allowing a medical-technical radiology assistant to work for several diagnostic systems from any location.
Exciting what possibilities digitization and AI bring with them!
There was a few minutes of discussion time between the inputs, in which the participants could ask questions and make comments. The possibility was also used in virtual space, so that the online participants did not miss out on the screen. Afterwards, there was a lively exchange and networking in a relaxed atmosphere. In this way, new contacts could be made and the goal of cross-sectoral cooperation came a step closer.
Many thanks to all speakers and helpers! We are already looking forward to the next meeting!
And many greetings!
your Annabelle
