Hello!
We are happy to have a new colleague in the STARK team, who will now represent our strategic controller Kristin Freudenberg during her maternity leave. At this point we would like to introduce Tina Friebe!
"Well, first of all I would like to wish Kristin the best of luck for the exciting time that lies ahead - and get as much sleep as possible. As a mother of 3 children, I know all about sleep deprivation." explains Tina, who, after her first week at ENO, is still amazed at how many projects our project managers work on at the same time, and often in project teams with different composition. But she is in the process of finding her feet and making appointments with colleagues to have the work areas of each individual presented in detail and then to gain a strategic and controlling overview.
Tina was born in Görlitz, but grew up in Jänkendorf, in the municipality of Waldhufen in the northern district of Görlitz. "If you don't know Waldhufen - above all we have a lot of nature to offer!" she is happy. Although she loves nature and peace, Tina moved to Görlitz in 2006 - for professional reasons. "It's nice that I've stayed close to friends and family and I was still able to see something of the world," reports the former quality manager. Through her employer, she had the opportunity to attend further training courses and appointments throughout Germany, but also internationally. "My longest journey took me to a client in the USA, to Seattle," she explains." Now I'm happy to be able to be part of this important task here in my home country, which is known under the term 'structural change' or 'structural development'. understands.
When asked how she would describe a successful structural change, Tina doesn't have to hesitate: "For me, it would be best if my children stayed in the region. If they didn't have to seek happiness far away, then I would say: this is a success that I take personally. And, professionally? So: measured in numbers? Do you already know what has to come out at the end of 2038 so that we in the district can proudly and happily say: "done"?
Of course, there is a clear answer: "For the region, this success can be measured by the settlement of new companies, industries or the increase in the population. Of course, there are still a few challenges to be mastered and not only to get the people of the region enthusiastic about it. " Tina states - and is quite optimistic: "But I am convinced that there are already many committed colleagues in the ENO who have accepted this challenge." Yes, there is - and they're happy that you're here.
Welcome to the ENO, dear Tina!
Best regards
Your Jasna
