In the district of Görlitz there are over 4,600 companies that received mail from District Administrator
Bernd Lange . In the letter, the entrepreneurs were asked to take part in this year's company survey, which the ENO is conducting on behalf of the district. The entrepreneurs still have time - we look forward to receiving the answers by February 28th.

Not only we from the ENO as local business development are sure that participation is more important than ever in these times. The district administrator explains why: "There are new challenges ahead of our district as a business location and also for the companies in the region."  

Of course, this includes the unchanged high demand for skilled workers and suitable commercial space, but also other topics and global trends. Climate change and the scarcity of resources, sustainable and regional added value, technological progress, digitization or new mobility solutions - these are all issues that, in different degrees, affect many companies in our district in one way or another.

By participating in the survey, companies, tradespeople and the self-employed can make an important contribution to tackling the necessary development processes of the coming years with combined strength and new ideas. "That's why the perspectives of entrepreneurs on the current development, their needs and wishes and their forecast for the next few years are important to us," explains District Administrator Bernd Lange. And for us as a development company, of course, too, apart from the fact that we are also very interested in how the companies have fared since our last survey, i.e. since 2018

The evaluation of the 2022 company survey be completed by the end of March. The results are made available to all participating companies. Based on the company survey, support for companies in the district of Görlitz can be improved and strategies can be tailored precisely to the challenges of the coming years. Thanks to lively participation, the services of the individual institutions in the district can be geared to the needs of the economy and development trends can be identified.
