"Change of perspective society" - that was the 1st Lausitz Café 2023
The topic of the first Lausitz Café on January 31, 2023 was " Change of perspective: Society - What does YOUR structural change look like? " .
The background to this invitation for all citizens of the district of Görlitz are the events that we as the ENO innovation team were able to organize and attend last year.
Because: we have experienced that experts* are questioned about all sorts of things, but rarely the individual people, who in their entirety are society.
On topics that structural change - or as we prefer to call it because it is more appropriate: structural development - entails. We wanted to change that!
We kicked things off in the 1st Lausitz Café - with an interesting evening in which some important topics were addressed. Topics that affect our living environment and all of us - and which are then dealt with intensively in the follow-up appointments (see below). Best with you! Be there and get in touch with us - let's see together how your ideas can become ideas for the entire district and/or all of Lusatia!
The program included considerations on mobility , energy, but also questions relating to the factors of the living environment (especially skilled workers - and how we can recruit them) , the external perception of our district and structural development, as well as questions relating to tourism.
In the photos above you can see our dedicated task force members in dialogue - Saskia Brosius during the introduction (top left), next to our new team leader Heike Schleussner , including Laura Horst in action and our Rothenburg doer, project manager and new managing director of the VLP Rothenburg, Uwe Garack
Using the World Café methodology , which enables many perspectives to have their say and to combine them into a larger overall picture, the participants were able to contribute to the structural change issues . And they did. Full of energy!
After a short input, the 25 participants engaged in lively discussions. "It's amazing what different views, interests and, above all, ideas are being pushed forward," said innovation manager Saskia about the success of the format she helped create. "Such a rich, intensive discussion - I am still happy that our first 'Lausitz Café' was so well booked and we are already looking forward to the second!".
The participants actively discussed important topics that affect us all - the desire to help shape it was so great that some guests are already planning the upcoming Lausitz Café
have registered
What was the discussion anyway?
Energy : Regardless of whether you own it or rent it, the electricity to charge your smartphone has to come from somewhere. What is your energy mix at home? If you could now build your own house or redesign your current one, where do you get your energy from?
Mobility : Imagine it's 2030, your car is broken and you just can't find a replacement. Now you are dependent on alternatives. How do you hope to master your everyday life and get from A to B?
Tourism : You are visiting friends from southern Germany for 3 days and would like to do something with them in our region - one of the three days is rainy. What are you doing?
Specialists : THESIS - We will never succeed in attracting (highly qualified) specialists to the region because the income is too low. Specialists only come for money - right?!
External perception : Where do you consciously perceive advertising and perhaps even react to it and where do you tend to hide it? Why did you watch/read an advertisement?
to incorporate them into future project development .
The Lausitz Café is an entertaining series of events that recurs every two months, in which we would like to discuss selected key topics of structural change with you. Each of the five Lausitz Cafés has a different theme.
The headline for the next Lausitz Café on April 4, 2023 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. is “Your opinion – priceless”. This is the motto under which questions relating to the Unpayableland campaign will be discussed.
The offer is aimed at all citizens of the district of Görlitz and is free of charge. Catering is provided!
More Lausitz Cafés are planned for this year. On the following dates always from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the UnbezahlbarLounge in Görlitz:
04.04.2023
06.06.2023
08.08.2023
10.10.2023
12.12.2023
We look forward to you and your ideas!
You are welcome to inform yourself here and us of course
