Cordial invitation to the 2nd working group on the development of sustainable commercial areas
As a development company, we want to make the district of Görlitz, our municipalities and the local companies fit for the future.
We want to act as a source of ideas and show new ways. Due to the decision to phase out coal , there is a need in the district of Görlitz to support a diverse economic structure. Sustainable solutions must be developed and produced to ensure that the population, municipalities and companies are supplied in the long term with affordable, locally produced energy and well-paid jobs. Various actors (municipalities, authorities, companies, federal or state governments) are significantly involved in this process. The development of future-oriented structures will succeed if the supply of commercial areas is based on sustainable, resource-saving components.
After the great response that our first working group to invite UnbezahlbarLounge in the InnoLabs tomorrow, Wednesday, June 7th, 2023 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Because: The development of sustainable commercial areas is an exciting task for municipalities, companies and planners. But how do you go about these ventures?
At tomorrow's information event, we want to highlight various aspects of the development of sustainable commercial areas and initiate further networking. In the last meeting, questions about characteristics and criteria for sustainable, resource-saving commercial areas were addressed in workshops.
Within the event we would like to offer a space for a joint exchange on current developments. In addition to the technical discussion, we want to develop a continuous, joint work structure and strengthen the network between municipalities, entrepreneurs and planners.
The following lectures await you:
- "Green Energy Parks" - Cooperation of companies on the energetic level (electricity and heat) in commercial areas - Mr. Benjamin Jabobsen, Chemnitz University of Technology
- "Design of near-natural company premises" - Procedure and measures to improve biodiversity - Dr. Martina Koch, Heinz Sielmann Foundation
- "Presentation of the feasibility study - sustainable industrial zone Zittau/East" - Ms. Gloria Heymann, Head of Office for Economics, International Affairs, Culture and Marketing, City of Zittau
We are looking forward to your participation.
