New challenges arise almost every day in companies, associations and municipalities. New problem-solving skills, creativity and interdisciplinary networking are required. But how does something like this work? By learning, trying and practicing . Together! At the 2.5-day Innovation Challenge from October 26th to 28th, 2023, there is the opportunity to strengthen your own problem-solving skills with great coaches, other creative people and the help of new methods and approaches. The first to register can now even secure free use of the Priceless Lounge!

Why should you take part in the Innovation Challenge - and what exactly is it about?

1. What is the Innovation Challenge?

The Innovation Challenge is a 2.5-day event in which heterogeneous groups develop prototypical solutions for specific or self-chosen problems from companies, municipalities and associations in the Görlitz district. The teams are guided and supported by coaches and mentors. Read here .

2. Who should attend?

• Employees of regional institutions in all sectors who want to get to know new methods, solve current hurdles and escape from everyday thought patterns
• Developers and computer scientists who want to show what they can do and who want to come into direct contact with potential clients.
• Students, pupils, young professionals

3. Why participate?

The participants develop solutions to actual, current problems or challenges outside of their normal structures. For this purpose, the companies, associations and municipalities send employees and volunteers to take part in the event. The participants receive an application-oriented, modern method input. The solution is found in heterogeneous teams and free from external specifications. Our coaches and mentors support the teams on their way.

The participants become carriers of innovation culture in their sphere of activity. The mixing of the teams gives all participants new perspectives. The event serves, among other things, to retain, promote and motivate staff.

There is enough space for networking. In addition, the exchange on trends and challenges of the different industries is promoted.

Career starters, pupils and students come into direct contact with potential employers.

4. How exactly does this work?

• Thursday, 10/26

Kick-off event with keynotes - commitment to the Innovation Challenge format and creative work in interdisciplinary teams, team building

• Friday, 10/27 - working day

Focus: understanding of the problem, personas, possible solutions

• Saturday, October 28th - Main goal: prototyping, finalization, pitch training and the big, exciting and entertaining jury pitch

5. Summary - What can participants expect from the Innovation Challenge
