Hello!
Attentive readers of this blog have long been familiar with our innovation team's citizen participation format
The ICL is an event at which heterogeneous groups develop prototype solutions for concrete problems faced by companies, municipalities and associations in the Görlitz district. The teams are guided and supported by coaches and mentors. The teams of the 2nd ICL include one scientist, three students from different departments, two pensioners and professionals from different industries. Our participants receive extensive training in various creativity and innovation methods that they can use beyond the event. They apply the methods in a practical and regional context and can thus make a practical contribution to the structural change process. Participants also expand their network and get to know exciting people.
The Innovation Challenge Lausitz (ICL), which is taking place for the second time this year, will conclude in three weeks. Today we would like to warmly invite you! The presentation of the solutions developed will take place on March 7th in Zittau. The presentations - the " jury pitch " - will be held in the Hillerschen Villa in Zittau from 5:20 p.m. to 8 p.m. The teams are currently still in the process of developing exciting and unconventional ideas, which they will then present to the top-class jury from business, politics and the social sector in order to receive constructive feedback with regard to the implementation of the ideas.
Systematically developing ideas together, getting to know new people and new ways of thinking: this is how an innovation workshop with design thinking works (like this innovation workshop by ENO and HSGZ in the UBL Lounge )
Since the beginning of the 2nd ICL ( click here for the detailed report ), two highly motivated and interdisciplinary teams have been working on the following regional challenges:
Challenge of the Görlitz district adoption and foster care agency :
What measures can be taken to overcome barriers and encourage potential foster parents to open up and take action on the topic of foster children and adoption?
Challenge of the Upper Lusatian District Sports Association :
How can the Upper Lusatian District Sports Association or the sports clubs in the Görlitz district motivate children and young people to take an interest in club sports and, as a result, become members of a club?
The jury consists of:
- Antje Klose ( Head of the Department for Structural Development ,
Economic Development & International Relations) - Tim Berndt (Managing Director of the Lausitz Economic Initiative )
- Manuela Thomas (Managing Director of the Lausitz Social Network )
Anyone who would like to find out first-hand what modern methods of design thinking and idea generation the teams used and what ideas came about is invited to take part in the pitches! Will we see each other on March 7th in Zittau?
We look forward to your ->registration<- !
Best regards
Your Saskia , Wilhelmine & Jasna
